Official Beer Destination: Woodbridge Pub
We're psyched to announce that Woodbridge Pub will be one of our Official Beer Destinations for Detroit Beer Week, happening October 17-27!
Since opening in 2008, Woodbridge Pub has been a catalyst for neighborhood development, with owner Jim Geary behind much of that development himself. A gastropub without all the fuss and a game-changer for the historic Woodbridge neighborhood, the Pub provides neighbors with a central gathering place for socializing and sharing pints of local craft brews. All these years and many, many new bars later, it remains a favorite for Detroiters of all neighborhoods.
From Eat It Detroit:
It's a restaurant-slash-art gallery serving healthful, globally-inspired food that is vegetarian- and vegan-friendly, and they also have killer drink specials. Located in the heart of Woodbridge next to Midtown, Woodbridge Pub gets a strong turnout of Wayne State and CCS students, artists, area hipsters and what-have-yous, and has always been a relaxed neighborhood place for some good food and cheap drink. They have a robust local beer selection, bottomless mimosa brunches, Internet jukebox, and pretty pretty bar.
